Nashville Weather

- Two tornadoes and one funnel cloud have attacked through the Nashville area, in according to reports received by the National Weather Service.

The Tennessean reported that the 1st tornado was spotted 1 mile west of Nashville's CoolSprings Mall at 2:10 p.m. on local time. The 2nd was nearby Dickson on west of Nashville. The funnel cloud was seen 5 miles southeast of Nashville.


And the Weather Channel posted on their Twitter this picture with the caption, " A Multiple trees snapped in this photo from Nashville, TN. with Indication of a tornado."

The Nashville Electric Service has reporting more than 74,000 customers without electricity as of 4 p.m. today.

National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Richland Creek in Nashville.

National Weather Service also has received reports of at least 2 tornadoes and 1 funnel cloud near the Nashville area.

A 2nd caller reported another tornado near Dickson, and according to Brittney Whitehead with the National Weather Service.

She said a funnel cloud was spotted 5 miles at southeast of Nashville near Percy Priest Lake.

The Damage has been reported in Centennial Park and Bluefield Road and Donelson Pike.

Nashville Electric Service was reporting more than 58,000 customers without power on its website. Middle Tennessee Electric is reporting at least 12,000 outages, mostly in Williamson County.
